GNIDA
(Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority) has been active and
has taken it to make the Noida Extension area flourish and enhance in
style. The authority wants to make this area boom and so the
construction of as many as 50,000 houses has been ordered. This has
been done as the city of Noida Extension was stuck in legal hassles
and so the builders were unable to finish off the pending projects

in. So now the Supreme Court has passed a ruling wherein the builders
have to deliver about 50,000 housing units by the end of this year.
To make the city attractive to buyers, GNIDA has made infrastructural
changes to make sure that the residents do not find any problems in
shifting here and making the best of the amenities provided. The
basic things like power cables and a substation have been laid out in
the city. This is because the city would need electricity and so the
essentials have been made available for the future residents. The
water supply too has been made available to the people and so the
maintenance is on the way. But these will only be provided to the
individual plot owners and the group housing projects will have to
fend for themselves. Other facilities included are hospitals and
schools, more of which will be constructed in the future.
The

the same reason as the people are taking interest in this part of the
city. Streetlights have been installed making the city suitable for
driving and living. This is indispensable as streetlights help
prevent crime and provide for safe driving. Soon a drive to plant
trees will be launched. All these efforts are being made to make the
city livable with greens as an essential part of the city.
